After telling his history students to follow their dreams for years, Collin Napier is finally following his.
In 2015 he left his job at L&N Stem Academy and joined an old school friend’s insurance company while he saved and planned to launch Brynn Coffee Co. in November 2018. Napier now sells his freshly roasted coffee beans and serving handcrafted coffee drinks from a 1970s Winnebago.
Napier met his wife, Megan, at a coffee shop when they were studying at the University of Tennessee. At the time, Napier was roasting coffee beans as a hobby. He would use a Whirly Pop popcorn popper in his apartment’s kitchen. “There’s a lot of science that goes into it and you can quickly burn a batch,” he said. “We set off the smoke alarm the first time.” Read the full story here in the Shopper News
